Food and service is generally consistently good for pub fare but on too many occasions the white meat dishes are overcooked or not made to expected standards especially red meat dishes. Used to to be a young lad kitchen hand there who could often cook better than the chef!! Need to get rid of the old sour puss at the bistro counter and send her to charm school. Doesn't seem like she wants to be there and puts off travellers from ever returning for life! Always a nice atmosphere in Clanys dining room though, although the pokies right next to the front bistro is down right annoying and unpleasant dining experience and needs a wall and a door to suppress the racket from the machines. Toilets always clean too which says a lot
